This May, we will be launching a free creative writing programme on how to plan, write and edit a novel. The programme will include twelve free writing classes, split either side of National Novel Writing Month, taking writers through the novel writing process, from conception, right through to editing and submission.
To celebrate the launch of the programme we will be hosting an event in the Speakeasy in Voodoo Rooms, West Register Street, on Thursday 30th April at 6pm. All local literary folk are welcome to come along and join us for a drink and to find out more.
The classes, each on a different key aspect of novel-writing, will be delivered live on the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm, in The White Horse Bar on the Royal Mile, in Edinburgh, and then a recorded version of each class will go out on our website and on YouTube the day after.
We’re hoping, in this way, to provide a valuable resource to local, national and even international writers, and to further promote Edinburgh as a thriving literary city.
